HOSPITALITY
A custodian of history and memory, Villa Malacari opens its doors to those wishing to step into its story.
The Domestica Villa, also known as Villa Malacari, was built by Andrea Malacari in 1668. It is located along the main road leading east to the small medieval village of Offagna: a narrow ridge at the foot of the hill crowned by the 15th-century fortress. Nestled in this picturesque village, listed among I Borghi più Belli d’Italia, the Villa has a character all its own. The noble wing is enriched with stuccoes and original terracotta flooring, all overlooking the grand Italian-style garden, with two holm oaks that predate the Villa itself, each nearly 300 years old. Today, the Villa houses one of the oldest wineries in the Marche region on its lower level, where Malacari wines are produced, while the upper floor accommodates the noble chambers and the Villa Malacari Bed & Breakfast.

An oenotourism experience to savour the organic wines of Azienda Agricola Malacari.
In the heart of Offagna, positioned within the gentle landscape of the Marche hills, Villa Malacari opens the doors of its historic cellar to offer an authentic wine and gastronomic tasting experience, allowing guests to fully immerse themselves in the territory and its history. In the shade of the cedar trees, visitors can relax and taste the Estate’s wines, sample local products, and explore the cellars for a complete and immersive experience.

Tasting the territory
Guests can discover Villa Malacari wines through guided tastings that combine flavours and stories, tradition and territory.
Our aim is to tell a story: the story of a place, a family, and an ancient way of making wine. Yet it is the wine itself, more than any word, that reveals its essence: in each glass resides the memory of the land, the wisdom of time, the rhythm of nature, and the identity of a territory that has accompanied us for centuries. Here lie our roots and our present, the daily care, and the depth of a product born slow, true, and essential. The Estate’s labels are paired with a selection of local, zero-kilometre products sourced directly from the village, offering a sensory journey that celebrates the authenticity of the Marche region.Tastings take place in the Italian-style garden of the Villa, a space of calm and beauty where time seems to slow down between one glass and the next.

The cellar visit
Oak barrels cradle our wines, resting in the dim light and humidity of one of the oldest cellars in the Marche. Beneath the vaulted ceilings, a slow and steady process unfolds, echoing a gesture as old as winemaking itself.
These cellars have held our wines for centuries and continue to fulfil the purpose for which they were built: a place where the method is preserved and the transformation of the product takes place, inseparably tied to our care. It is here that the skilled hand of humankind intervenes to create one of the oldest and most fascinating products that tradition has bestowed upon us.

In the heart of the medieval village of Offagna, one of I Borghi più Belli d’Italia, stands Villa Malacari Bed & Breakfast, a place where time seems to slow down. Just 18 km from the sea, particularly Monte Conero, this retreat, positioned within the Marche hills, offers the perfect balance of history, nature, and tranquility. Surrounded by the countryside, the B&B provides an ideal haven for those wishing to reconnect with nature or experience the magic of a place steeped in history.
Within the Villa, the elegant rooms welcome guests with a warm and refined atmosphere, where every detail preserves the charm of tradition. The Italian-style garden, with its centuries-old trees and boxwood hedges, enhances the experience, offering a serene space to rest and enjoy the shade on sunny days.
Each morning, in the grand hall known as the Red Salon, a homemade breakfast is served with local products and freshly baked cakes—a tranquil moment to awaken among the scents of the countryside and the sound of cicadas. In the summer afternoons, the coolness of the ancient walls invites rest, surrounded by the decorated salons and the spacious garden that embraces the Villa. At the heart of the Villa lies the historic library, a silent yet vibrant centre of the B&B, rich in history and culture, revealing the roots of the estate.
Staying here means experiencing an authentic journey, where comfort meets beauty and every moment becomes a small voyage through time.
The B&B welcomes guests during the central months of the year, with opening dates that may vary annually in harmony with the rhythms of our winemaking activities.
THE ROOMS

Between history and beauty, the Villa opens its doors to host truly unique moments.
Over time, Villa Malacari has welcomed musical gatherings, cultural conversations, family celebrations, and special occasions. Its salons, guardians of many seasons, have witnessed musicians, artists, guests, and friends, each leaving their mark in the discreet rhythm of the house. The expansive Italianate garden, which opens into luminous vistas during the milder months, provides a harmonious setting for those seeking an authentic and character-filled environment. Between the historic salons and the landscaped gardens, every occasion finds a space that brings depth and beauty to the experience. In this spirit, the Villa can be made available for events that deserve a location capable of speaking for itself, with its timeless charm and distinguished presence.

The salons and the noble wing
A place of unique character, where the value of history is palpable.
Ascending the noble staircase just beyond the entrance, one enters the gallery, welcomed by columns and soaring ceilings that give the eye room to wander. The warm light of summer days filters through the large windows, casting soft geometries upon the ancient floors, while at sunset a soft rosy glow caresses the salons, transforming them into a theatre of impressions. From the windows, the view opens onto the garden on one side and the rolling countryside extending to the distant sea, creating a continuous dialogue between architecture and landscape.
The Villa’s salons, elegant spaces that retain their historic soul, provide settings for significant moments, from intimate meetings to larger events. A professional kitchen is available to support the organization of special occasions, without disturbing the natural harmony of the house.

The library
The journey culminates in the library, the Villa’s vibrant heart: a quiet yet alive space where the memories and stories of the Malacari family have accumulated over time.
Here, every detail, the stillness, the light, the silence that invites reflection, guides visitors toward a slower, deeper engagement with the soul of the house.
Adjacent to the library are three guest rooms with en-suite bathrooms, intimate and refined spaces that allow for an extended stay in an almost timeless atmosphere, while remaining fully immersed in the beauty of the Villa.
We who inhabit this residence know the delicacy of its magic, the essence that flows along the corridors, settles in the rooms, and envelops all who enter. One can attempt to describe it, but its true essence can only be grasped by experiencing it. And in doing so, one understands the profound bond that has always united our family with these walls.
